Armenian Door Chime
Here is a door chime manufactured in Yerevan in Armenia when it was part of the Soviet Union.
It’s a fairly standard compact door chime although the chime bars are suspended by molded rubber supports instead of the more typical grommets around metal bars or bolts found on other compact and resonator chimes. This chime apparently operates on 220 volts without the need for a transformer.
The materials used in the chime and packaging are substantially lighter in weight than those found on other contemporary chimes manufactured in the United States and Great Britain.
